Midnight Madness MMSC20 & Cute Card Thursday #79

I combined two challenges for a little added fun. The sketch is from Midnight Madness 20. Cute card Thursdays challenge was to use yellow and black. The stamp set and card stock are from stampin up. I also used the scalloped oval all for the words.

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #83

I loved this layout so much I just had to do a card. I have limited time with Halloween just around the corner. I'm making all of our family halloween costumes and have only created my patterns, but have not yet cut the material. I won't tell you just yet what we are all going to be but I'll post a photo of our costumes from last year that I made. Here is the card and layout. Thank you Taylored expressions, I love this sketch. Oh, I should also mention that my son has hidden my mono tape so I had to magically piece this card together. I sure hope I find it soon. ALSO, check out my sister-in-law's challenge card HERE

Baby Avery Frame

I've taken a small break from the challenges to complete a gift for my friends daughter.

I used a simple shadow box and co-ordinated cardstock from joann's. I used two stamp sets from Stampin up, Perfect princess, and Once upon a time. I originally purchased the build a fairy-tale from Stampin up, where I got the idea for the shadow box, but really didn't like the designer paper they used, the size they chose, or the difficulty in taking it apart. So here is what I did, I scanned the images, brought them into inkscape, created a .SCUT file, and was able to cut the image in any size, and on any paper on the cricut. The build-a-fairy-tale, I'm sad to say, is on the retired list. The clouds and the princess got some bling bling by adding glitter. The colors that were chosen match a section of material from the bumper covers of my friends baby room. I can't wait to see what photo she chooses to put in it.

Enjoy!!

CPS 134 Challenge and Cuttlebug Spot 1 year Anniversary

This card was for CPS 134 challeng, and cuttlebut spot challenge 1 year anniversary. I love this stamp and couldn't wait to use it. I did discover that I need to do a run to my local craft store for some ink and cardstock. I'm running a little low.
The stamp is Dasher from Stampin up!. I also used the cuttlebug snow embossing folder.
The item I would love to buy from custom crop is http://www.customcrops.com/product_info.php?cPath=102&products_id=231127441
Enjoy!

Pop Up Scrabook page - Just for fun

Hi all, I created this page ( it was the first page I had ever done.) for fun of my son.
It had a flap that opened, some slide outs, and a few pop ups. I love the pop ups. I'm not crazy about the layout, but I love many of the other elements and thought I would share.

Enjoy
